Breeding of abandoned pet animals on the streets has become almost the biggest animal-related problem in Ukraine. You probably know in what geometric progression animals breed, if their population is out of control. There are already millions of starving animals in Ukraine and it is impossible to feed them all, and run wild dogs that gather in gangs become an increasing threat to people and other animals. Therefore, in response to the situation, in the second half of August, GGI sterilization project was launched in Ukraine.
By 31 May, 2023, 3 624 animals (4 105 cats and 937 dogs) were sterilized/castrated. Sterilizations/castrations financed by your donations take place in Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kramatorsk, Kryvyi Rih, Kropyvnytsk, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Uzhhorod, Vilnius, Zaporizhia and a mobile clinic in the Donetsk region.
